The invention discloses an electrochromic skylight and a preparation method thereof. The electrochromic skylight comprises first glass; a first adhesive layer arranged on the first glass; a second glass; a second adhesive layer arranged on the second glass; an all-solid-state electrochromic device arranged between the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer; a sealing part arranged on the edges of the first glass and the second glass and used for sealing the all-solid-state electrochromic device, the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer between the first glass and thesecond glass; wherein the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer are made of an optical transparent adhesive; the edge of the first adhesive layer and/or the second adhesive layer is flushwith or exceeds the edge of the all-solid-state electrochromic device; the sealing part has stickiness and waterproof performance. The electrochromic skylight provided by the invention has good flexibility, can be suitable for almost any curvature or shape, and has no leakage risk.
