The invention discloses a driving system applied to an electric bicycle. The system comprises a pedal device with two pedal mechanisms and a middle shaft, a motor device, a first one-way transmissionmechanism, an output power device, and a one-way transmission stopping device, wherein the motor device is provided with a motor mechanism and core gear teeth, the motor mechanism is connected to thecore gear teeth, and the middle shaft penetrates through the core gear teeth; the first one-way transmission mechanism is connected to the core gear teeth and the middle shaft; the output power deviceis provided with a crankset and an output part, the crankset is fixedly connected to the core gear teeth, one end of the output part is connected to the crankset, and the other end is connected to the electric bicycle; and the one-way transmission stopping device is provided with a moving assembly and a second one-way transmission mechanism, and the moving assembly is arranged on the middle shaftthrough the second one-way transmission mechanism and located on the side surface of the core gear teeth. The moving assembly is connected with the core gear teeth, efficiency of the first one-way transmission mechanism between the middle shaft and the core gear teeth is stopped, fixing integration of the pedal mechanism, the middle shaft, the core gear teeth and the crankset is achieved, the crankset drives the output part to brake, and a pedal braking function of the middle motor is achieved.
