The invention discloses a CP signal parameter configuration system through electric vehicle power supply equipment. The system comprises a configuration device and a charging pile, wherein the configuration device is connected with the charging pile through a CP wire and a PE wire, a second resistor is connected in parallel between the CP wire and the PE wire on the configuration device side, twoends of the second resistor are connected in parallel with a series circuit of a first switch and a third resistor, the charging pile is controlled by a control device, the control device is connectedwith the CP line through a first resistor, one end of the CP line is provided with a first test point on the charging pile side, and the other end of the CP line is provided with a second test pointon the configuration device. The invention further discloses a CP signal parameter configuration method through electric vehicle power supply equipment. According to the invention, the configuration device serves as a host mode, the charging pile serves as a slave mode, the configuration device is connected with the charging pile through a CP line and a PE line, parameter configuration can be directly achieved through a CP signal line, hardware does not need to be changed, and only software setting needs to be conducted, so that convenience and rapidness are achieved.
