The invention provides a pre-acceleration uphill automatic driving method and system. The method comprises the steps: S1, obtaining current position information of a vehicle in real time, checking whether there is a ramp in a road distance set in front of the current position of the vehicle or not, executing a step S2 if there is the ramp, and otherwise, executing a step S5; S2, acquiring the position information and a gradient of the ramp, the current speed of the vehicle and half-load mass of the vehicle, and calculating a current road distance between the current position of the vehicle andthe ramp, an additional torque value required by the vehicle on the ramp and the pre-acceleration distance required by the vehicle before the vehicle goes uphill; S3, determining whether the currentroad distance is larger than the pre-acceleration distance or not, if so, executing the step S5, and if not, executing the step S4; S4, outputting the additional torque value; and S5, determining thatthe output additional torque is zero. A problem that the speed of the automatic driving vehicle is reduced at an uphill moment is solved, and a driving experience is improved.
