The invention discloses a quad-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle type inspection robot. The inspection robot comprises a shell main body and a paddle mounting frame, supporting legs are installed on the rear surface of the machine shell body, a rack B is mounted on the rear surface of the shell main body, a counterweight module base is mounted on the rear surface of the shell main body through a sliding rail D, a counterweight module is mounted on the outer surface of the counterweight module base through a sliding rail C, a bidirectional motor D is mounted in the counterweight module, a bidirectional motor C is mounted in the counterweight module base, the paddle mounting frame is mounted on the front surface of the shell main body, a camera is mounted on one side of the front surface of theshell main body, a rack sleeve is mounted on the front surface of the shell main body through a sliding rail B, a two-way motor B is mounted on one side of the rack sleeve, and a two-way motor A is mounted on the front surface of the shell main body. The functionality and practicability of the inspection robot are improved; and a manipulator mounting rod is added, so that the inspection robot cansuggest to control to-be-inspected equipment, and the operation convenience is improved.
