The invention provides an H-shaped steel overturning device, and relates to the technical field of building steel structures. The H-shaped steel overturning device comprises a platform, a plurality ofjig beams distributed on the platform, rotating arms arranged at the ends of the jig beams, and a hoisting device capable of hoisting H-shaped steel. The lengths of the rotating arms are matched withthe thickness of the H-shaped steel. The H-shaped steel is placed on the rotating arms through the hoisting device, the H-shaped steel is put down and falls to the ground through the self weight of the H-shaped steel, the rotating arms support a lower flange of the H-shaped steel, the H-shaped steel slowly makes contact with the ground, impact is reduced, the H-shaped steel tilts by a certain height, and the risk that the component collides with and disengages from the hoisting device (unhooking) is reduced. Overturning is completed after the component falls to the ground.
