The invention provides an external blowing type power lift augmentation system based on an unconventional layout. In the power lift augmentation system, wings provided with external blowing flaps arelocated at the rear position of a fuselage, and an engine is installed at the position, away from the front portions of the wings by a long distance, of the wings. Through the external blowing type power lift augmentation system, high-temperature and high-speed jet flow generated when the engine works is mixed with surrounding low-speed cold air more sufficiently, the temperature and speed are greatly reduced, and therefore the external blowing flaps interacting with the jet flow do not need to be made of high-temperature-resistant materials, the weight and cost are reduced, iet flow deflection losses and noise are reduced, the lift augmentation effect is improved, the impact load of airflow on the flaps is dispersed, and harmful flow-induced vibration is not likely to happen.
