According to the overcharge prevention device of an electric vehicle charger based on Internet of Things, through cooperative use of the electromagnetic soft iron, an electric lead, the sliding groove, the permanent magnet, the spring, the connecting groove, the connecting rod, a fixed pile, a dielectric rod,a limiting groove negative plate, a positive plate and a switch, the effects of reflecting the electric quantity during charging and automatically powering off when the electric vehicle charger is fully charged are achieved.
