The invention discloses a safety operation method based on an automatic storage yard multi-rail crane, and belongs to the field of multi-rail crane collision avoidance. The safety operation method comprises the following steps that an algorithm is initialized; equipment weight is calculated, and a weight tree is generated; a planned position is broadcast; a motion range and an equipment state areupdated, the priority is recalculated, and the weight tree is adjusted; a target position is calculated; and the algorithm is output. According to the safe operation method, collision caused by overlapping of a plurality of automatic cranes in a storage yard can be avoided, and safe operation among equipment is controlled.
