This suspension structure for an in-wheel motor drive device is provided with: a suspension member (41) extending vertically and having a lower end connected to the in-wheel motor drive device (10); an elastic member (52) connected to the upper end (45) of the suspension member (41) and supporting a vehicle body-side member (101); and a damping means (55m, 57) disposed between the upper end (45) of the suspension member (41) and the vehicle body-side member (101) and damping relative displacement between the upper end (45) and the vehicle body-side member (101) in a vehicle width direction orin a vehicle front-rear direction.

    轮毂电动机驱动装置用悬架结构具备:沿上下方向延伸且下端部与轮毂电动机驱动装置(10)连结的悬架构件(41);与悬架构件(41)的上端部(45)连结来对车身侧元件(101)进行支承的弹性构件(52);以及夹设在悬架构件(41)的上端部(45)与车身侧元件(101)之间来使上端部(45)与车身侧元件(101)之间的车宽方向或车辆前后方向的相对位移衰减的衰减机构(55m、57)。
