The invention relates to an electric vehicle braking energy distribution method. The method comprises the following steps: (1) obtaining the current target braking requirement of a vehicle; (2) determining a front and rear axle braking force distribution curve, and obtaining front wheel braking force and rear wheel braking force according to the front and rear axle braking force distribution curve; (3) establishing a conversion relationship between the pressure of the main cylinder and the recovery torque of each wheel motor; (4) converting the pressure of the main cylinder into hydraulic mechanical braking torque; and (5) according to the current target braking requirement and the braking energy recovery stage state, adjusting the relation between the recovery torque of each wheel motor and the hydraulic mechanical braking torque. Efficient recovery of braking energy can be achieved, and smoothness of the braking process is guaranteed.
