The invention discloses a lost-communication subsurface buoy fishing method, and relates to a fishing method. A central operation controller receives high-frequency sound wave data changes sent by a double-frequency sound wave energy converter and reflected by a releaser and gravity anchor connecting anchor chain through a first high-frequency sound wave receiving energy converter and a second high-frequency sound wave receiving energy converter to calculate the relative position and distance information of a shear opening of a hydraulic shear and the releaser and gravity anchor connecting anchor chain. A first thruster and a second thruster are controlled to coordinate in thrust, and when the releaser and gravity anchor connecting anchor chain completely enter the shear opening of the hydraulic shear, a hydraulic oil cylinder pushes the hydraulic shear to shear off the releaser and gravity anchor connecting anchor chain; a worker on a scientific investigation ship reads a hydraulic shear complete closing signal sent by the double-frequency sound wave converter and received by a low-frequency sound wave distance measurement communication transducer, starts to recover a steel cable, lifts an underwater robot, and recycles a lost-communication subsurface buoy.
