The invention mainly relates to the technical field of HUD display systems, and provides a large-view-field ship-borne HUD display system which sequentially comprises a semi-transparent and semi-reflecting mirror T1 with negative refraction power, a mirror (R1) having negative refractive power; a first lens L1 having positive refractive power; a second lens L2 having positive refractive power; a third lens L3 having negative refractive power; a fourth lens L4 having positive refractive power and a fifth lens L5 having negative refractive power, wherein f is the effective focal length of the HUD display system, fl is the effective focal length of the semi-transparent and semi-reflective mirror T1, ImgH is half of the length of a diagonal line of an effective pixel area on the imaging surface S15; f, fl and ImgH meet the inequality: f/fl is more than 1/2 and less than 1, and ImgH/f is more than 1/10 and less than 1/5, so that a large view field and a relatively long depth of field can be realized, various aberrations are effectively corrected, and the relative illumination is smooth; and meanwhile, the system length of the large-view-field HUD system can be shortened, and the miniaturization of the large-view-field HUD system.
