The invention discloses a roadside parking system and method based on street lamps. The system comprises a management platform and street lamps uniformly arranged on the roadside at preset intervals, and each street lamp is provided with a detection unit and an analysis processing unit; the detection units obtain parking space information and vehicle information; each analysis processing unit identifies license plate information according to the vehicle information, performs data interaction on adjacent street lamps, screens out high-quality license plate information meeting a preset standard when identifying the same license plate information, obtains a parking space line according to the parking space information, and judges the state of the vehicle according to the relationship between the vehicle information and the parking space line; and the management platform carries out timing charging on vehicles parked on the roadside according to the vehicle state and the high-quality license plate information. Parking management is carried out on vehicles on the roadside by arranging the detection units comprising high-position cameras on the street lamps, so the hardware construction cost is saved; and data interaction is carried out between the adjacent street lamps, so the problem that the management efficiency is low due to the fact that a blind area exists on a coverage surface due to insufficient height is solved.

    本发明公开了一种基于路灯的路边停车系统及其方法,其系统包括管理平台和以预设间距均匀设于路边的路灯,路灯安装有检测单元和分析处理单元;检测单元获取停车位信息和车辆信息;分析处理单元根据车辆信息识别出车牌信息,相邻路灯进行数据交互,在识别到相同车牌信息时,筛选出符合预设标准的优质车牌信息,并根据停车位信息得到车位线,根据车辆信息与车位线的关系判定车辆状态;管理平台根据车辆状态和优质车牌信息对路边停车的车辆进行计时收费。本发明通过在路灯上设置包括高位摄像头的检测单元对路侧的车辆进行停车管理,节约了硬件建设成本,相邻路灯之间进行数据交互,解决了因高度不足导致的覆盖面存在盲区而管理效率低下的问题。
