The invention discloses a left and right wheel positioning method, a tire pressure monitoring chip, a tire pressure monitoring system and a related device. The left and right wheel positioning method comprises the steps: after detecting that a tire rotates, acquiring the duration needed for the tire to rotate by a preset circle; sampling the centrifugal acceleration and the tangential acceleration of the tire within the duration; determining a lead-lag relationship between the centrifugal acceleration and the tangential acceleration of the tire based on the sizes of the sampling point serial numbers corresponding to the sampled centrifugal acceleration and the sampled tangential acceleration respectively; and determining whether the tire is a left wheel or a right wheel based on the lead-lag relationship between the centrifugal acceleration and the tangential acceleration of the tire. According to the scheme, the tire can be positioned through the low-precision acceleration sensor.
