The invention belongs to the field of tower crane control, and particularly relates to an operating system of a multi-mechanism tower crane. The operating system comprises a controller, wherein the controller is respectively in signal connection with a display and a control unit, and the display provides a display and operation interface for the operating system; the control unit is used for controlling the four sets of inversion modules, each set of inversion module provides power for a winding drum by controlling a corresponding motor, and the winding drum mechanism is provided with a winding drum speed detection device used for detecting the speed of the winding drum; and the controller can read the winding drum speed value detected by each winding drum speed detection device. According to the operating system, after multiple mechanisms of the tower crane cannot be synchronized, the operating system quits the automatic synchronization mode and enters a single-mechanism operation mode, and a single mechanism or multiple mechanisms can be manually selected to work normally through the display mounted in a cab, so that the tower crane can still work normally under the condition of multi-mechanism synchronization failure, and the safety and the practicability of the tower crane are improved.
