The invention relates to a digital mirror device. This digital mirror device (20) comprises a display (21), a storage part (23), and a sliding device (24). The sliding device slides the display in a sliding direction that follows the inner surface of the windshield of the vehicle in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. Further, the sliding device comprises an actuator (30) and a connecting mechanism (31). The actuator is a linear actuator that expands and contracts along the roof of the vehicle in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The connecting mechanism couples the actuator and the display. The connecting mechanism is configured so as to change the longitudinal motion of the actuator into motion in the sliding direction via the rolling of a plurality of connected rotary bodies inside the storage part.
