The invention provides a traffic restriction recognition method and device and electronic equipment, and relates to the technical field of intelligent traffic, in particular to the technical field of electronic map navigation. According to the specific implementation scheme, the method includes: obtaining first guiding arrows located in a guiding lane line range corresponding to a first intersection; in response to the fact that the number of the driving directions indicated by the first guiding arrows is smaller than the number of the branches of the first intersection, determining that the first guiding arrows are lack of a second guiding arrow for indicating the first driving direction, wherein the the number of the branches is used for representing the number of roads which can be driven in the vehicle driving direction; and determining a route with traffic restriction based on the second guide arrow.
