The invention provides charge time prediction for an electrified vehicle battery. The invention relates to predicting a charge time of a battery of an electrically powered vehicle. An example motorized vehicle includes an electric machine configured to provide rotary output power to drive the motorized vehicle; a battery pack configured to output power to the motor; and a controller. The controller is configured to predict a profile indicative of a charge rate of the battery pack. The curve is predicted based on whether the battery pack is predicted to be charged based on at least one charge limit of the battery pack.
