The invention discloses a method for determining a sector to which an aircraft belongs based on a geodetic coordinate system. The problem of judging that a certain spatial position point is in any simple polygon is the basic problem of computational geometry and computer graphics. The invention provides a method for determining a sector where an aircraft is located based on a geodetic coordinate system aiming at the problem of calculation of a control sector where the aircraft belongs in air-ground integrated cooperative operation management, and by improving a ray method with judgment points in a polygon, all possible special situations are classified and processed, and the calculation efficiency is improved. The calculation amount is effectively reduced, and meanwhile, the position of the aircraft in any control sector can be accurately judged. The method has a wide application prospect in the aspects of air traffic flow evaluation, fine control of aircrafts, dynamic planning of airspace paths and the like.
