A walkable robot includes a main body, a walking mechanism coupled to the main body and supporting the main body; the walking mechanism comprises a first leg mechanism and a second leg mechanism, the first leg mechanism is operably coupled to the main body through a first main joint and can rotate around the first main joint relative to the main body, and the second leg mechanism is operably coupled to the second main joint relative to the main body. A second leg mechanism operably coupled to the body through a second primary joint and rotatable relative to the body about the second primary joint; the first leg mechanism and the second leg mechanism each comprise an upper supporting assembly, a main joint driving assembly, a lower supporting assembly, a middle joint driving assembly, a contact sensor and a motion controller.
