The invention provides a method and system for dynamically controlling pedestrian crossing signal lamp timing and electronic equipment, and belongs to the field of intelligent signal control. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a scene video of an intersection where a pedestrian crossing is located in real time; detecting whether the target group exists according to the feature identifier of the target group; identifying the current traffic condition of the intersection; and dynamically adjusting a signal timing control strategy to control the traffic signal lamp at the intersection. The system for dynamically controlling pedestrian crossing signal lamp timing comprises a scene sensing module, an analysis and detection module and a dynamic control module. The electronic equipment comprises one or more processors. A memory; one or more executable programs are stored in the memory, and the one or more processors read executable program codes stored in the memory. According to the invention, the passing efficiency of the intersection is guaranteed to the maximum extent while the safe crossing of the student group is realized.
