The invention relates to the technical field of battery management, and discloses a battery charging and discharging control method and device, an electric vehicle and a readable storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring state parameters of each single battery in a battery pack; analyzing the state parameter of each single battery, and determining the temperature limit value of the single battery, the total voltage of the battery pack, the charge state of the battery pack and the fault state of the battery; and controlling the charging power and the discharging power of the battery based on the temperature limit value of the single battery, the total voltage of the battery pack, the charge state of the battery pack and the battery fault state. According to the invention, the overcharge or overdischarge of the battery can be effectively prevented, the utilization efficiency of the battery energy is improved, the power output capability of the battery is ensured, the operation stability of the battery system is improved, and the use safety of the battery system and the driving safety of the electric vehicle are ensured.
