The invention discloses a vehicle speed-based signal lamp control method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium, and the method achieves the purpose of limiting the right of road of a high-speed vehicle by sensing the driving speed and distance of a vehicle and starting a green light phase to release when the vehicle speed is lower than a vehicle speed threshold value when the vehicle is away from a signal lamp by a specified distance. Therefore, the vehicle speed control consciousness of the driver at the intersection can be improved, and the accident rate at the intersection is reduced; meanwhile, the method is low in cost and simple in control mode, and can be widely applied to accident-prone areas and areas with poor sight distance.
