The invention discloses an auxiliary drawing method for providing a weld joint tightness test layout drawing. The method comprises the steps that S1, groove information is extracted from groove modeling codes of an existing weld joint; s2, groove information is screened; s3, welding seam coordinates based on a grillage coordinate system are obtained from the groove information; s4, converting the welding seam coordinates based on the grillage coordinate system into welding seam coordinates based on a drawing space coordinate system according to a coordinate system conversion algorithm; s5, determining the character direction of the groove; and S6, according to the drawing process of the weld joint tightness test arrangement drawing, inputting weld joint basic information, and drawing the weld joint tightness test arrangement drawing in combination with the weld joint coordinates based on the drawing space coordinate system and the groove character direction. According to the method, the drawing efficiency and the drawing standardization of the weld joint tightness test layout drawing are improved.
