The invention relates to an aluminum alloy and a part prepared from the aluminum alloy. The invention relates to an aluminum alloy comprising: 7 to 9% by weight of silicon (Si), 0.15 to 0.45% by weight of chromium (Cr), 0.1 to 0.3% by weight of vanadium (V), at least 0.01% by weight of strontium (Sr), 0.1 to 0.2% by weight of titanium (Ti), 0 to 0.5% by weight of manganese (Mn), 0 to 0.8% by weight of iron (Fe), the balance being aluminum and unavoidable impurities. According to the aluminum alloy, the heat treatment process after casting can be omitted in the machining process, energy conservation and emission reduction are facilitated, and parts prepared from the aluminum alloy can achieve the expected mechanical property.
