A two-way icebreaking type transport ship with open water area performance is characterized in that the lower part of a ship bow is a small-ball bow, a lower ice zone waterline is located at the upper half part, the upper part and the middle part of the small-ball bow, and the outer surface of the lower part of the bow is streamlined; an ice discharging groove is formed below a stern transom plate of a ship stern, the ice discharging groove is divided into a left half and a right half by a ship midline, the intersection line of the ice discharging groove and an icebreaking stern is a stern post, the included angle between the stern post and the ship midline is not larger than 30 degrees, a pod platform is arranged at the position, close to a midship, of the stern post, and a triangular transition plate is arranged at the position, close to the stern, of the stern post. The end parts of the ice discharging groove and the ice breaking stern are connected with the stern transom plate through the transition plate; the distance between the stern columns on the two sides of the ice discharging groove is gradually increased in the direction from the stern to the midship, and the ends, close to the transition plates, of the stern columns are higher than the other ends. According to the bidirectional icebreaking type transport ship structure, the open water area performance of ballast eating water and the bow icebreaking performance of an upper ice belt water line are both considered, the ship bow has the thin ice breaking capacity, the ship stern has the medium heavy ice breaking capacity, and the bidirectional icebreaking type transport ship structure has important significance.

    一种兼顾开敞水域性能的双向破冰型运输船,船舶艏部的艏下部为小球艏,下冰带水线位于小球艏上半部,艏上部、艏中部、艏下部外表面呈流线型;在船舶艉部艉封板下方设置有排冰槽,排冰槽被船中线分成左右对称两半,排冰槽与破冰艉的交线为艉柱,艉柱与船中线的夹角不大于30°,在艉柱靠近船舯处设置有吊舱平台,在艉柱靠近船艉处设置有三角形过渡板,过渡板将排冰槽、破冰艉的端部与艉封板连接;排冰槽两侧艉柱之间的距离自船艉向船舯方向逐渐变大,艉柱靠近过渡板的一端高于另一端。本发明的这种双向破冰型运输船结构,兼顾压载吃水下的开敞水域性能和上冰带水线下的艏破冰性能,在船艏具有破薄冰能力,船艉具有破中等重冰能力,具有重要意义。
