The invention relates to the elevator technology, in particular to a control device for a passenger conveying device, a control system comprising the control device, a method for controlling the passenger conveying device and a computer readable storage medium for implementing the method. The control device for the passenger conveying device according to one aspect of the application comprises a processor; a memory coupled with the processor; a communication module coupled with the processor; and a computer program stored on the memory and capable of running on the processor, the running of the computer program being such that, in response to an internal control command or an external control command received by the communication module, whether a passenger boarding signal exists in the passenger conveyor within a specified time interval is determined, the internal control command and the external control command comprise commands for starting or stopping the operation of the passenger conveying device; and executing an operation on the passenger conveying device based on a judgment result.
