The invention relates to the technical field of stackers, in particular to a stacker steel wire rope lifting mechanism and a connecting method, the stacker steel wire rope lifting mechanism comprises a lifting motor assembly, and the lifting motor assembly is fixedly arranged on a stand column and used for providing lifting power; the transition wheel is arranged at the top of the stand column; the lifting steel wire rope assembly is fixedly connected with the lifting motor assembly, is used for transmitting power, and comprises a steel wire rope which penetrates through the transition wheel and is connected with the lifting motor assembly, and a steel wire rope end head assembly connected with the steel wire rope; and the cargo carrying table is located between the two stand columns and used for containing cargoes, and the steel wire rope end head assembly is fixedly connected to the cargo carrying table. The device is simple and compact in structure and convenient to mount and is directly fixed on a cargo carrying table to save cost; regular lubrication and maintenance are not needed, and the later maintenance cost is reduced.
