An air cooled resistor is disclosed. In particular, the present invention relates to an air cooled resistor arrangement. The resistor arrangement includes a first elongated tube member housed inside a second elongated tube member. The first and second elongate tube members are spaced apart from each other by an air gap to allow a flow of air through the first elongate tube member and the air gap. The invention also relates to a brake system for a vehicle comprising an air-cooled resistor arrangement and a vehicle.
