The invention provides a method for forming a portrait of a driving behavior. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring driving behaviors and fuel consumption data of a to-be-evaluated vehicle and other vehicles of the same type as the to-be-evaluated vehicle; according to the driving behaviors and the fuel consumption data, determining the fuel consumption of each vehicle in a first preset time period and various types of driving behavior evaluation parameter values; ranking fuel consumption evaluation parameter values related to fuel consumption of the to-be-evaluated vehicle determined according to the driving behavior and the fuel consumption data; determining an average driving behavior evaluation parameter value of each category of all the vehicles of the type according to the driving behavior evaluation parameter value of each category of all the vehicles of the type; and displaying the comparison result of the driving behavior evaluation parameter value of each category of the to-be-evaluated vehicle and the average driving behavior evaluation parameter value of the corresponding category and the ranking of the fuel consumption evaluation parameter values of the to-be-evaluated vehicle as portraits to a driver of the to-be-evaluated vehicle.
