The invention discloses a reconfigurable multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle based on bistable hinges. The reconfigurable multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle comprises the bistable hinges, rotor assemblies, magnets, grippers and the like. The bistable hinge is composed of a machine body module, a pin shaft and a tension spring. The unmanned aerial vehicle has two different fuselage configurations of an annular (configuration A) and a linear (configuration B), magnet attraction and spring tension are overcome through reaction torque generated by clockwise/anticlockwise rotation of the rotor wings in the same direction, the fuselage hinge steady state is switched, opening/closing of the unmanned aerial vehicle fuselage is achieved, and the wheelbase of the unmanned aerial vehicle is changed while the fuselage configuration of the unmanned aerial vehicle is switched. Moreover, under the two fuselage configurations, the structural stability of the unmanned aerial vehicle is jointly ensured by the tension of the tension springs and the attraction of the magnets. In addition, due to the linear fuselage structure and the hollow annular fuselage structure, the unmanned aerial vehicle has the capacity of shuttling back and forth in a narrow space and grabbing objects.
