The invention discloses an intersection driving risk assessment method and system and a storage medium, and relates to the field of intelligent traffic, and the method comprises the following steps: determining a vehicle conflict relation based on an expected driving track of a vehicle in an intersection; projecting the vehicles to a virtual lane to form a virtual motorcade; based on the vehicle conflict relationship, calculating the minimum safe distance between the own vehicle and the conflicting vehicle on the virtual lane; calculating the comprehensive driving risk of the vehicle based on the minimum safe distance and the actual distance between the vehicle and other vehicles; and designing a relative risk index based on the comprehensive driving risk, and outputting a driving risk level evaluation result. The driving risk in the intersection is measured by using the minimum safe distance on the virtual lane, and the potential risk can be sensed before the vehicle enters the intersection meeting area; the comprehensive driving risk is evaluated by using the minimum safe distance and the actual driving distance on the virtual lane, the driving risk level sensing sensitivity in the intersection is high, and the traffic safety of the intersection is improved.
