The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a first eyelid distance set and a second eyelid distance set of a driving object in a preset time window; according to the first eyelid distance set, determining a normal eyelid distance when the eyes of the driving object are in an eye opening state; aiming at each second eyelid distance in the second eyelid distance set, when it is determined that the aiming second eyelid distance meets a first preset eye closing condition based on the normal eyelid distance, determining the eye image frame corresponding to the aiming second eyelid distance as an eye closing image frame, and obtaining an eye closing frame number; and updating the initial fatigue alarm threshold value according to the eye closing frame number to obtain a target fatigue alarm threshold value. By adopting the method, the problems of low fatigue alarm threshold updating efficiency and low fatigue alarm accuracy caused by detecting the driving state of the driving object by adopting the default initial eyelid distance and the fatigue alarm threshold during updating can be solved.
