The invention relates to an electric actuator assembly for a motor vehicle, comprising a transmission device (26) having a transmission shaft (29), a cylindrical braking surface (34) which is provided in the transmission device (26) and surrounds an axis of rotation (A), and a blocking element (36) which is mounted eccentrically with respect to the axis of rotation (A) and which can be adjusted about a pivot axis (S) by means of a drive unit (38), the stop element (36) is arranged to engage with the cylindrical braking surface (34) only in one direction of rotation of the cylindrical braking surface (34) about the axis of rotation (A) and can be placed in contact with the cylindrical braking surface (34), and the stop element (36) is arranged to engage with the cylindrical braking surface (34) with a self-locking action only in one direction of rotation of the cylindrical braking surface (34) about the axis of rotation (A).
