The system dives into the water bottom along a river bank slope and approaches a target in a driving mode, then the underwater robot body is released to approach the target for observation and measurement, and after a task is completed, the robot body returns and is stored and fixed by the chassis in a clamping, compacting and locking mode. According to the scheme, the advancing distance of the underwater robot in water can be shortened, the influence of water flow on the underwater robot is reduced, and meanwhile, complex hoisting equipment does not need to be arranged when the underwater robot is used.
