The invention provides a collaborative lane changing method and system based on edge computing nodes. The collaborative lane changing method comprises the following steps: setting an edge computing node terminal corresponding to each traffic light intersection, and monitoring vehicle real-time information of the current traffic light intersection in real time through the edge computing node terminal; wherein the vehicle real-time information comprises the real-time speed of the vehicle and the road section unobstructed grade; and the edge computing node terminal obtains a suggested vehicle speed and a suggested lane changing vehicle speed of the current road section according to the vehicle real-time information, and controls a traffic display screen at a traffic light intersection to display the suggested vehicle speed and the suggested lane changing vehicle speed. The system comprises modules corresponding to the steps of the method.
