The invention discloses a method for limiting, retracting and releasing a mooring anchor chain of a floating wind power platform, which comprises the following steps: before the floating wind power platform reaches a target sea area, one end of the mooring anchor chain is mounted on a universal joint at the bottom of a vertical column of the floating wind power platform; the other end of the mooring anchor chain is lapped on the guide bridge and is vertically bent downwards, one end of a limiting rigging is connected with the bent position of the anchor chain and is limited and fixed, and the other end of the limiting rigging is connected with the upper portion and the lower portion of an anchor chain tying support; after the floating wind power platform reaches the target sea area, firstly releasing the limiting of the anchor chain; the limiting rigging and the upper portion of the anchor chain fastening support are unconnected, and then the upper portion structure of the anchor chain fastening support is dismantled; one end of a winding and unwinding rigging is connected with the limiting rigging, and the other end is connected with a steel wire rope of a winch; and the mooring anchor chain is slowly lowered till the anchor chain is completely lowered underwater. According to the invention, conversion from a limiting state of tying an anchor chain by a static rigging to a lowering state of connecting the anchor chain by a dynamic winch can be completed on a platform.
