A jet type sea cucumber catching robot comprises an external camera system, a power system, a built-in camera system, a control system, a catching system, a jet system, a base plate and a side plate. The control systems are installed at the two ends of the base plate, the power systems are installed on the two sides of the base plate, the power systems are installed at the top point of the lower portion of the base plate, and the robot ascends, descends, rotates and moves forwards, backwards, leftwards and rightwards. An external camera system is mounted at the front end above the substrate, and a built-in camera system is mounted in the middle above the substrate, so that the recognition of a target in water is realized; a jet system is installed at the front end below the base plate, a catching system is installed in the middle below the base plate, and a catching target in the collecting cage is pushed into a collecting net bag through a jet propeller. The sea cucumber catching device is simple in structure, sea cucumbers are caught in the underwater environment through jet flow jetting, the automatic catching process is achieved, the catching efficiency is improved, damage to the sea cucumbers in the catching process is reduced, and safety and high efficiency of catching operation are guaranteed.
