The invention discloses a vehicle windshield wiper control method and device, head-mounted display equipment and a readable storage medium. The vehicle windshield wiper control method comprises the steps that a vehicle window image corresponding to a front windshield of a vehicle is obtained; identifying the vehicle window image to obtain water drop distribution information on the front windshield; a target control instruction for the vehicle windshield wiper is generated according to the water drop distribution information, the target control instruction is sent to the vehicle, and the target control instruction is used for triggering the vehicle windshield wiper to execute a target cleaning action corresponding to the target control instruction. The intelligent windshield wiper control method and device can avoid the situation that additional sensors need to be added for intelligent windshield wiper control of the vehicle, and therefore the hardware cost of the vehicle is reduced.
