The system comprises remote control equipment, vehicle-mounted control equipment, intelligent locomotive leading equipment and cloud service equipment, high-precision positioning of the locomotive and the tail portion of a train set is achieved through the Beidou differential positioning technology, far-end video diplopia and transmission of locomotive control commands and vehicle-mounted equipment information are achieved through 4G/5G, and safety protection of shunting operation and remote locomotive control are achieved through vehicle-mounted control equipment; according to the system, the number of locomotive drivers can be reduced, the drivers can get off, and locomotive coupling, jacking, benchmarking parking, traction and benchmarking parking can be controlled through the remote controller in the middle of a station yard.
