The present invention relates to a change operation assistance device in which there is a function for a driver to switch a request state between an OFF state and an ON state among driving assistance functions provided to the driver by a vehicle, and there is a risk that the driver unintentionally changes the request state of the driving assistance function due to misoperation and misunderstanding by the driver. When a predetermined specific condition is satisfied, the change operation assistance device of the vehicle executes a setting change confirmation process. The setting change confirmation process is a process in which confirmation information for confirming whether or not to change a request state of a function to be confirmed among the driving assistance functions is provided to the driver, and the request state of the function to be confirmed is changed when the driver performs a predetermined agreement operation in accordance with the confirmation information.
