The invention relates to a large-size component anti-skid hoisting variable self-locking clamp and a using method thereof, and relates to the technical field of component hoisting tools, the large-size component anti-skid hoisting variable self-locking clamp comprises an upper clamping module and a lower clamping module which are used for clamping a component, the upper clamping module comprises two upper clamping blocks, and second upper connecting lug plates are fixedly arranged at the ends, away from each other, of the two upper clamping blocks; first lower connecting lug plates are fixedly arranged at the ends, close to each other, of the two lower clamping blocks, and second lower connecting lug plates are fixedly arranged at the ends, away from each other, of the two lower clamping blocks. The side walls, close to the component, of the upper clamping block and the lower clamping block are provided with clamping faces used for abutting against the surface of the component, and the second upper connecting lug plate and the second lower connecting lug plate are fixedly connected through a connecting assembly. The two first upper connecting lug plates are connected and fixed through a fixing piece, and the upper clamping block and the lower clamping block are connected and fixed through a connecting assembly; the whole upper clamping block and the whole lower clamping block are clamped with the component, and the clamping faces abut against the surface of the component, so that unbalance of the component is effectively prevented, and the component is prevented from sliding off.
