The invention relates to a quick charging system (10) for electrically driven vehicles, in particular passenger cars, trucks, buses or the like, wherein: the quick charging system comprises a contact device (11), a charging contact device (12) and a positioning device (13); the invention relates to a charging contact device, which may be located on or in an underbody (14) of a vehicle and comprises a charging contact carrier (17) with charging contacts, which contact device may be located on or at least partially in a surface (15) underneath the vehicle over which the vehicle may travel and comprises a contact carrier (16) with contacts; the charging contacts can be contacted by corresponding contacts to form contact pairs; the contact carrier can be positioned relative to the charging contact carrier by means of a positioning device such that an electrical connection can be established between the vehicle and the stationary charging station; the contact carrier has a projection (18) with contacts located thereon and the charging contact carrier has an opening (19) with charging contacts located therein, or vice versa, the contact carrier has an opening with contacts located therein and the charging contact carrier has a projection with contacts located therein, or vice versa, the contact carrier has an opening with contacts located therein and the charging contact carrier has an opening with contacts located therein. The protruding part is provided with a charging contact on the protruding part; and the projection and the opening are each formed by abutment surfaces (20, 21) having a matching geometry, the profile (25) of the projection being ovoid.
