A bicycle derailleur (10) includes a base member (12), a movable member (14), a link member (16), and a chain guide (18). The movable member includes a housing (30) having a base portion (32) and a cover portion (34) at least partially removably coupled to the base portion (12). A link member (16) movably couples the movable member to a base member (12). The chain guide (18) pivots about a first pivot axis A1 relative to the movable member. A biasing member (36) is at least partially disposed in the housing for biasing the chain guide (18) about the first pivot axis A1 in the first direction D1 relative to the movable member (14). The base portion (12) includes a first contact surface (60) oriented non-perpendicularly with respect to the first pivot axis A1. The cover portion (34) includes a second contact surface (62) that contacts the first contact surface (60) of the base portion (32) in the closed state.
