The invention relates to the field of automotive interiors, and particularly discloses a modified low-atomization polyvinyl chloride automotive interior skin and a preparation method thereof. The modified low-atomization polyvinyl chloride automotive interior skin comprises a surface layer, a modified polyvinyl chloride layer and a base cloth layer, the modified polyvinyl chloride layer is located between the surface layer and the base cloth layer, and the modified polyvinyl chloride layer is prepared from, by weight, 10-20 parts of modifier, 50-65 parts of polyvinyl chloride resin, 1.5-2.5 parts of stabilizer and 30-40 parts of high-temperature plasticizer. 0.3-3 parts of a flame retardant; the modifier is a mixture of polyethylene glycol phosphate and an acrylate copolymer. According to the prepared interior trim skin, release of volatile substances can be reduced through the polyethylene glycol phosphate and the acrylate copolymer, the atomization degree of the polyvinyl chloride interior trim skin is reduced, and meanwhile the strength and the weather resistance of the interior trim skin are improved.
