The power unit configuration method comprises the following steps: acquiring total charging power to be output of K power units; obtaining rated output power of the power units, and determining M power units based on the total charging power and the rated output power; obtaining a target output power interval of the power units, and determining N power units based on the total charging power and the target output power interval; based on the M power units and the N power units, the J power units are configured to output the total charging power, and the efficiency of the power supply device when the J power units output the total charging power is greater than or equal to the efficiency of the power supply device when the M power units output the total charging power, the efficiency of the power supply device when the J power units output the total charging power is greater than or equal to the efficiency of the power supply device when the N power units output the total charging power. Through the mode, the efficiency of the power supply device can be improved, so that the efficiency of the charging pile is improved.
