The invention relates to a vehicle tire wear management method and device, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining the motion data of a vehicle; the driving severity degree of the vehicle is calculated according to the motion data, and the mileage of a tire is obtained; and according to the driving severity degree and the driving mileage, identifying a driving behavior and a tire use mode of the user, and when at least one of the driving behavior and the tire use mode reaches a preset tire rapid wear condition, generating a user behavior prompt and/or a use prompt. Therefore, the problems that in the related technology, monitoring of tire abrasion belongs to passive maintenance behaviors, real-time monitoring of the whole tire using process is difficult, monitoring timeliness of tire abrasion is reduced, the vehicle using cost is increased, intelligence and practicability are low and the like are solved.
