According to the embodiment of the invention, the invention provides a method and a device for controlling a battery output circuit and a battery management system. The battery output circuit is configured to control an output of a battery and includes a charging MOSFET and a discharging MOSFET connected in series, a drain of the charging MOSFET being connected to a drain of the discharging MOSFET or a source of the charging MOSFET being connected to a source of the discharging MOSFET. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring the conduction state of the charging MOSFET and the conduction state of the discharging MOSFET; obtaining the magnitude and type of current in the charging MOSFET and the discharging MOSFET, wherein the type comprises charging current and discharging current; under the condition that the charging MOSFET is in an on state and the current is charging current, comparing the magnitude of the current with a first threshold value; and controlling the discharge MOSFET to be turned on in response to the situation that the magnitude of the current is greater than the first threshold value.
