The invention relates to a monitoring system for an electric vehicle charging and battery swap station. The monitoring system comprises station-level monitoring platforms, a local monitoring unit and a vehicle-mounted controller arranged on a battery transfer vehicle, wherein every two of the station-level monitoring platforms are in communication connection; the station-level monitoring platform and the local monitoring unit are respectively used for being in communication connection with the charging equipment, the battery replacing equipment and the vehicle-mounted controller; the station-level monitoring platform monitors and controls the charging equipment, the battery replacing equipment and the vehicle-mounted controller; the in-situ monitoring unit monitors the charging device, the battery replacing device and the vehicle-mounted controller and displays monitoring information in situ, and when the station-level monitoring platform breaks down or is overhauled, the in-situ monitoring unit controls the charging device, the battery replacing device and the vehicle-mounted controller. The station-level monitoring platform and the in-situ monitoring unit provide a basis for the control of the charging and swapping station by monitoring the real-time monitoring data of the equipment in the charging and swapping station, and the reliability of the charging and swapping station is improved.
